Files on Drive . . .

If your file is under 10MB it should email okay -- however, if your files are really large (esp. if they are up in the 200MB range) you will need to physically bring them in on a drive or use a service like www.wetransfer.com

Most thumbdrives (also called keychain drives, flash drives, usb drives) can be used on our computers without our needing to install a driver (most are plug and play on any computer)

Be aware that some of the larger external drives are not always as easy to access (and may require that we download and install the driver for that specific external drive -- for which we would have to charge a fee for our time to do this)...  same with accessing data off some phones.

Keep a clean house!!  Please don't bring us a drive filled with hundreds of miscellaneous files all listed out in the initial directory -- this will only slow down the process (and cost you more money, as the meter will be running for our time to get at your files)

Set up a folder just for us to access, plus park all your other files into a folder (marked "personal" or something) so that all we see when we load your drive is the very bare minimum of files... all nice and organized-like!!

If your drive has been acting weird, giving you any nature of errors -- you probably should back up your files and reformat the drive... or buy a different drive to transport files to us with -- if we run into behavior problems with your drive it will cost more of our time... and more of your $$
