QuarkXPress

FEEL THE POWER!  (sorry, but I just love this program!!) -- if a person needs a professional page layout program this is it!  There's much I could go on about, but basically, it gives us the picky kind of control we need, not just over our layouts, but even when we que a job to print.  It has a bit of a learning curve for some, but I'm not the only one who found it to be rather intuitive.  Great for business forms, newsletters, books, brochures, and even little business cards where the precision and step-n-repeat features are invaluable to us.  I also use this program to "digitally number" tickets!

Not sure how many folks use it (rare to see a fellow user off the street, usually it's just used by the Pro's) -- so please let me know if you DO use it and I will post any tips and guides you might feel are necessary...  

PDFs stay solid and behave out of Quark (another reason to love it), so you can feel confident sending us a PDF, but we can also accept your native/working files (please Collect for Output, and include your fonts)

If you are fortunate enough to still have an operational older computer, you might consider buying a copy of 7 (which is my fav version) -- I have a couple UNREGISTERED, still in the factory cellophane copies available for sale... same guys as this one:
