Red-Green-Blue . . .

RGB stands for Red-Green-Blue... this is the 3 hues used to create colors on a television and computer screen.  Even though it may look pretty, and often print "okay" it's really not the recommended color mode for printing.

It is the default for cameras and scanners, and offers the widest range of colors, and most photo-edit programs have more features available when in the RGB color mode -- however, for best matches, it is recommended (and sometimes required, depending on output device used for your order) to convert the final file to CMYK before submitting for print.

NOTE:  If you are getting 10,000 full color rack cards done, chances are we will have to have CMYK mode...  if you are just getting 50 business cards made it may not affect the output...  and if we are doing a large format photo print we PREFER RGB for our large Epson printers (helps keep the files smaller too, as there is less data with this mode).

Be sure to pay close attention as the image re-renders into CMYK -- watch for hue changes, etc., anything that you might want to give one last tweak to before submitting for printing.
